The Choral Public Domain Library (CPDL) at is the largest website devoted exclusively to free choral sheet music. Begun in December 1998, the site has over 300 contributors and 7,600 scores.

Joey Robichaux's Free Sheet Music directory at has been around since 1998. From there you can locate thousands of free sheet music downloads, lessons, tips, and articles; many instruments, many musical styles. Joey also runs the site Find Free Sheet Music at This is a more organised and categorised collection of sources of free sheet music, lessons, tips, and articles.

The northeast Ohio Sacred Harp site at has links to this site. Charles Wells has converted some of the gallery-music psalm tunes to shape-note form, so you might like to explore these.

Martin Graebe's site has a link to this one. The main part of his site is about Sabine Baring-Gould and that is where he usually directs people to access first, particularly because he is still working on the 'Greenjack' area. He hopes eventually to include a page about Baring-Gould's hymns -- but there are a few other things to do first.
